Saundersfoot Beach

The beach in Saundersfoot is proud to have been awarded a Blue Flag award in recognition of its clean beach and water.

The sandy beach can be accessed via a short slipway from the town and the adjacent harbour. The Harbour car park is adjacent to the beach, but space is limited, especially during the summer

Lifeguards are in attendance on Saundersfoot Beach, during the summer months.

Dogs are banned from some sections of the beach between 1st May and 30th September.

Coppet Hall Beach

At high tide, Coppet Hall Beach is separated from Saundersfoot beach however it is still possible to gain access along the footpath (forming part of the Pembrokeshire Costal Path) from the end of the Strand and through the Tunnel of the old mine railway.

Toilets and a large car park can be found to the rear of the beach.

Dogs are banned from some sections of the beach between 1st May and 30th September.

Wiseman's Bridge

Continuing north along the footpath from Saundersfoot and Coppet Hall you will discover the beach at Wiseman's Bridge. The beach is famous for its use in the rehersals for the D-Day landings during the Second World War.

The beach at Wiseman's Bridge contains more rocks and pebbles than the two listed above, but childen will enjoy hunting for some of the fossils to be found here.

Glen Beach

Heading South from Saundersfoot beach and past the harbour, Glen beach can only be used at low tide so please take note of the tide times and plan accordingly.

Monkstone Beach

Monkstone Beach at high tide

The secluded, south facing, sandy beach at Monkstone can only be accessed via the footpath from Trevayne Farm Caravan Park or by boat.

There are over 150 steps leading down the cliff, and so this beach is not suitable for the less able. There are no life-guards or toilet facilities on Monkstone Beach
